- Hostly connects consumers with trustworthy service professionals. From servers to bartenders and more, Hostly will help you better enjoy the company of your invitees and experience what it’s like to host like you’re one of the guests. With a seamless booking process and secure payment system, Hostly is the easiest, most convenient way to book professional event services.
- Fill out our Booking Request Form. On the big day, your Staff will arrive ready to help. Post-event, you’ll receive an invoice and opportunity to leave a review.

- You should supply Staff with the basic supplies and materials needed to better host your event such as serving trays, water pitchers, napkins, trash bags, etc. Please reference our Event Preparation Checklist that will be sent to you via email once you book your staff.
- Should you need any assistance with purchasing basic items such as ice, make a request with your Hostly contact before your event to purchase on your behalf. If your Staff purchases the materials on your behalf, Staff will provide the receipt to the Hostly team, and the cost will be added to your final Hostly invoice.
Hostly is available in South Florida and we’re always working on expanding. If you have a request for event service needs in another location, please let us know and we can do our best to help serve you.
Yes! You can request to reschedule a preferred professional when you request a booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate if they are available.
- Pricing – All of our services are billed hourly, and there’s a five hour minimum per person to book our services. To get an estimate, select the service you need by making a new booking and we’ll provide you with an estimate based on the details of your job before confirming your booking.
- Peak Pricing – When there’s significantly increased demand (e.g. holidays), our system will apply Peak Pricing. This helps us to encourage more Staff to start working. You will be notified of the pricing ahead of confirming your booking.
- View payment details & receipt – Payment details including digital receipts or invoices will be shared with you via email within 24 hours of your event. If you think there’s a mistake and that you were incorrectly charged, please contact our team. We’re here to help!
- Gratuity – We are proud of our team of service professionals and guarantee gratuity is allocated to the staff that worked your event.
- What is the Hostly Booking fee? When you look at the price breakdown for each booking, you’ll notice a Hostly Booking Fee. This fee helps cover costs associated with the staff vetting process, background checks, and scheduling. We’re building the world’s best event service experience and these steps help us achieve that goal.
- Staff cancellation – No worries! If your staff can’t make it to your booking as arranged, they will notify the Hostly team directly. Hostly will immediately work with our group of event service professionals to ensure your booking is upheld with a professional who can make it.
- My staff is late – We expect Hostly professionals to provide the highest level of service, and at the core of that is reliability. Your Staff will arrive as close to the start time as possible. Please allow a 15 minute grace period before reporting lateness directly to services@hostlyworld.com. We apologize for the inconvenience.
- Something is damaged or missing – Your trust is one of our highest priorities, and we apologize for any incidents. Please reach out to our team so we can assist you. We may request that you submit a formal claim request, including photographs and proof of ownership. Please note, we request that any damaged or missing item claimed be reported within 48 hours of the service’s completion.
- Unsatisfactory service – We’re sorry to hear that your service didn’t live up to your expectations. Your happiness is our goal. If you’re not happy, we’ll work to make it right. We set high standards, and all of the professionals on our platform are meant to provide quality service. Please be sure to rate your staffer, so that our system can prevent you from being matched with them again. If you’d like, you can also reach out to our team for assistance. - Something come up? No worries, we’re flexible. Feel free to cancel or reschedule any booking, for free, as long as you notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Later than that, there is a fee which is passed on to the professional. To reschedule a booking, please contact services@hostlyworld.com.
- We know schedules can change quickly, but unfortunately rescheduling, or canceling a booking with less than 48 hours notice can cause your professional to lose valuable work and therefore results in a $50 fee per service provider.
- Rescheduling or canceling a booking less than 24 hours in advance causes the full price of the booking to be charged.
- Service Providers can sign up to work Hostly events based on their own schedules and availability. All of our services are billed hourly, and there’s a five hour minimum per staff member to book our services.
- Servers and bartenders are paid based on skillset, experience and hourly rate. Hourly rates increase on high-demand dates such as holidays.
- Clients may request to work with the same Service Provider for multiple events.
- The Hostly team will directly contact Service Providers to confirm event availability and share event details necessary before working an event.
Highly active, highly customer rated Service Providers will have access to working more events and may be established as a “Pro”. (*Coming Soon!)
